This position is responsible for soliciting new business, meeting established sales objectives via cold calling and in-person, making a required minimum of outbound sales calls each day. The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing, sales or similar area of study, will be a team player with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment, have excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner, is comfortable making cold calls, has strong time management and organizational skills and has a passion for sales. Partnership Activation Manager: This position will oversee the development of the partner activation strategy for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Nationwide Arena. This position is responsible for developing customized activation campaigns for team marketing partners. This position is responsible for increasing ticket sales and sponsorship revenue while building the team fan base and extending the Blue Jackets brand, identifying and creating opportunities for the Blue Jackets and marketing partners to develop co-op marketing and sales programs which drive ticket sales, and working with the sponorship sales staff to formulate and present sponsorship proposals featuring activation components and budget allowances. More reponsibilities include fostering cross-promotional initiatives between Blue Jackets Marketing Partners, serving as an extension of the partner's marketing department when needed to assist in the activation of programs, and developing and managing the department budget. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related area of study, a minimum of five years experience in team marketing, corporate sports marketing, and/or sponsorship marketing, excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and an understanding of ticket sales strategy and processes.

Group Sales Account Executive- This position is responsible for generating Group and Premium Tickets Sales (10 or more) through cold calling, relationship building, networking and appointment setting. A large emphasis will also be put on managing existing Group Sales accounts for renewal, referral and upgrade opportunities. Responsibilities of this position include: Develop and maintain strong working relationships which will produce sales throughout the year via personal sales calls, event/game night client hospitality, telephone contact and constant follow up. Meet and exceed all revenue and outbound call goals. Assist with creative concepts for production of sales materials including brochures, fliers and all other collateral materials. Represent the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Destroyers and Nationwide Arena at assigned functions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as a team player, work in a fast-paced and detail oriented environment, be comfortable making cold calls, strong time management skills, and will have 1-3 years of sales experience. Season Ticket Account Executive- This position is responsible for generating season ticket sales through cold calling, networking, and appointment setting; contacting existing qualified leads as well as generating new sales leads for PSL (Personal Seat License) and season ticket purchases; managing existing ticket sales accounts; and continuous solicitation of new business for Columbus Blue Jackets/Columbus Destroyers ticket sales. The Season Ticket Account Executives must have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationshipsand meet and exceed established sales objectives. Candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills; have a high comfort level with making cold calls, with 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.

Part Time Positions Available: Retail Associates - Part-Time
The Columbus Blue Jackets are looking for part-time employees to provide outstanding customer service during our daily operations at our FSN The Blueline locations (Nationwide Arena, The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, and all three Chiller locations). This position is responsible for providing information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to customers wanting to purchase merchandise, equipment and/or tickets. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of retail experience, excellent communication skills, be able to work nights and weekends and will be proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of Retail Pro a plus.
