Arena News NATIONWIDE ARENA RANKS AMONG TOP TEN ARENA VENUES FOR FIRST QUARTER TICKET SALESAccording to leading industry publication, Pollstar, SMG-managed Nationwide Arena placed tenth among top 40 arena venues in North America recording ticket sales of 71,258 for the first quarter of 2002. This figure does not include ticket sales from the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Columbus Landsharks. Pollstar, a weekly trade magazine, publishes facility rankings and box office reports throughout the year along with features on all aspects of the arena and touring industry.
“It has always been our focus to provide the very best entertainment experience, both on stage and in the Arena District. Thanks to the support of our guests, it is rewarding to see our success reflected in this top-ten ranking,” said Nationwide Arena General Manager Jay Cooper.
