COLUMBUS, OHIO - Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today the re-launch of the facility’s official web site, www.NationwideArena.com powered by DigiKnow. Several updates were made to improve ease of use and access to desired information. In addition to enhanced functionality, the site also boasts creative new design elements.

Prominently featured throughout the redesigned site is the theme of the arena’s latest advertising campaign, “Destinationwide,” created by HGA. The progression of the campaign incorporates other key words such as “Imaginationwide,” “Coordinationwide,” “Illuminationwide,” “Fascinationwide, ” all intended to position Nationwide Arena as the premier sports and entertainment facility in the nation.

"The Nationwide Arena web site allows our clients and guests access to a variety of information regarding central Ohio's premier entertainment destination. The site redesign brings forth a host of new features and amenities assuring that it remains visually appealing, easy to navigate and interactive," explains Cliff Clinger, Director of Marketing for Nationwide Arena.

In addition to the added graphics and event images, the new home page contains two feature stories that highlight the latest event or team news, including breaking concert announcements or important on-sale information. From this page, visitors can also click on direct links to related official web sites for the Blue Jackets, the Chillers, the Arena District, the Columbus Landsharks and others. The improved site also provides a more convenient navigation bar near the top of the home page featuring drop-down bars for easier browsing.

The re-launch also marks the introduction of the “Premier Access Club,” an email notification service intended to provide subscribers with specific information regarding requested events based on their indicated preferences. The “Premier Access Club” rewards subscribers by automatically entering them into the monthly contest to win a variety of exciting prize packages from select special events such as tickets, merchandise or meet & greet opportunities with popular entertainers.

Visitors may still utilize the site to obtain important information such as event schedules, directions and parking, arena policies, helpful seating charts, as well as a guide to local restaurants and hotels. In addition, a new “FAQ” (frequently asked questions) category, found under “Arena Information,” has been created in response to the most commonly asked inquiries.
