GREAT COMMUNICATORS LUNCHEON WITH TOM BROKAW

The Columbus Speech & Hearing Center presents The Scotts Company “Great Communicators Luncheon” with NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw as this year’s featured speaker at Nationwide Arena on Tuesday, May 13 at 11:30 a.m.

Tom Brokaw, one of television’s most venerable journalists, began his career over 40 years ago and has reported on numerous history-making events from the front lines and the anchor desk. Also an acclaimed author, Brokaw’s first effort and best-selling “The Greatest Generation” inspired equally moving follow-ups with “The Greatest Generation Speaks” and “An Album of Memories: Personal Memories from the Greatest Generation.”

The Columbus Speech & Hearing Center, founded in 1923, is a non-profit United Way organization serving more than 10,000 people annually. Services provided at over 100 area locations include: hearing evaluations, hearing aids, speech therapy for children and adults, occupational therapy and treatment, sign language interpreting and transliterating services and vocational services for the hard-of-hearing, deaf and deaf-blind through the Comprehensive Program for the Deaf (CPD) and the Ohio Deaf-Blind Outreach Program (ODBOP). Generous charitable giving helps offset the cost of the Center's valued services.

General admission tickets are $26 (includes $1 facility fee). For information on purchasing a table/lunch package, call (614) 261-5413 or visit www.columbusspeech.org. Tickets are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster.
