Event & Arena News GREAT COMMUNICATORS LUNCHEONThe Columbus Speech & Hearing Center presents The Scotts Company “Great Communicators Luncheon” with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright as this year’s featured speaker at Nationwide Arena on Tuesday, May 4 at 11:30 a.m. General admission tickets are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster. Madeleine Albright served as the 64th Secretary of State of the United States. She was the first female secretary of state and is the highest-ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government. As Secretary, Dr. Albright reinforced America’s alliances, advocated democracy and human rights, and promoted American trade and business, labor and environmental standards abroad. Dr. Albright is the founder of The Albright Group LLC, a global strategy firm and author of Madam Secretary: A Memoir. The Columbus Speech & Hearing Center, founded in 1923, is a non-profit United Way organization serving more than 10,000 people annually. Services provided at over 100 area locations include: hearing evaluations, hearing aids, speech therapy for children and adults, occupational therapy and treatment, and vocational services for the hard-of-hearing, deaf and deaf-blind through the Comprehensive Program for the Deaf (CPD) and the Ohio Deaf-Blind Outreach Program (ODBOP). Generous charitable giving helps offset the cost of the Center's valued services. General admission tickets are $26 and $36 for premium general admission.
