POWERS CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING AT NATIONWIDE ARENA APRIL 9

COLUMBUS, OH – Powers Championship Boxing presents "A Night of Undefeated Heavyweight Champions" on Saturday, April 9 beginning at 7 p.m. at Nationwide Arena when Columbus Heavyweight fighters MikeAlexander, Colin Bumgarner and Billy Evans will each put their undefeated records on the line in their respective bouts. Tickets are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster.

Current Midwest Heavyweight Champion Mike Alexander (10-0) tests his undefeated record against Adam Smith who beat his last undefeated opponent while Colin Bumgarner (6-0) of Marysville is slated to take on John Castle (4-0) of Indiana for the Ohio-Indiana Heavyweight Championship. Also competing in the heavyweight class and looking for his 12th victory will be Billy Douglas, son of the late Bill "Dynamite" Douglas and brother of James "Buster" Douglas who is best known for pulling off the tremendous upset of defeating Mike Tyson in a knock out to capture the World Heavyweight Championship in 1990. Billy Douglas has been the Ohio State Heavyweight Amateur Champion and has fought for the WBC (FECARBOX) Heavyweight Championship and the IBC America’s Heavyweight Title.

Wes Caldwell (21-6-0) of Columbus defends his Ohio-Indiana Super Middleweight Championship against Mike Stone (10-3-0) from Indiana. In another Super Middleweight bout, Stephan Pryor, son of former World Junior Welterweight Champion Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor, looks to better his 8-1 record. Also fighting that night will be Eric Deere of Marysville (Welterweight), Tim Riggs of Columbus (Jr. Middleweight), two-time World Kickboxing Champion Chris Overbey of Bellefontaine (Jr. Middleweight) and Kevin Brown of Columbus (Middleweight). Tickets are $32, $22 and $17 for adults and $12 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (614) 431-3600. Tickets are also available at the Blue Jackets Zones located at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton and Chiller North. All tickets are subject to service charges and facility fees.
