COLUMBUS, OH – Promise Keepers (PK) is hosting a two-day conference, “Unleashed: Releasing the Raw Power of Your Heart,” at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, to help men discover their God-given power and reach their designed potential. The conference is set for Friday, July 14 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is open now through www.promisekeepers.org.

Promise Keepers is an international ministry designed to ignite and unite men to become passionate followers of Jesus Christ, through the effective communication of seven promises to God, other men, family, church and community. Conference organizers expect men within a 300-mile radius to attend the two-day event.

This year’s presenters include evangelist Dr. Bob Reccord; popular youth evangelist Reggie Dabbs; pastor and reconciliation leader Joseph Garlington; Campus Crusade for Christ Director, Crawford Loritts; and family ministry leader, Dan Seaborn. In addition, The Katinas take the stage for a Saturday afternoon concert while the PK7 worship band and the L.A. drama troupe “Awaken” also perform throughout the weekend.

Since its inception, Promise Keepers has envisioned a spiritual movement of men, following Jesus Christ, and influencing their families, communities and culture. To that end, Promise Keepers presents a catalytic program designed to point men in the direction of a vibrant, practical and effective Christian faith and lifestyle through the local church.

This year, PK will organize events in 19 cities drawing men to arenas for encouragement, inspiration and information on living more effective, significant lives that can influence the culture. Conferences are open to all persons, regardless of gender or religious orientation, but the conference is targeted to men and boys aged 13 and older, from a clearly Christian perspective. PK is based in Denver, Colorado and has directly reached more than five and a half million men since its founding in 1990.

Registration is $89 for adult men and $69 for young men ages 18 and under. The cost includes conference admission for both days and lunch on Saturday. Registration is $59 for all active military.
