COLUMBUS, OH – Comic ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and his cast of characters present a cutting-edge comedy experience when the Spark of Insanity tour comes to Nationwide Arena on Thursday, September 25 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster.

Dunham performs as straight man to his fast-taking and socially reckless “Suitcase Posse.” First and probably most recognizable to TV viewers is Walter, the elderly, outspoken, and politically incorrect curmudgeon. Others include Peanut, a fuzzy purple imp who Walter describes as a ‘Muppet on crack;’ José Jalepeño, a self-belittling chili pepper on stick; and Bubba J, a beer-drinking NASCAR fan. Dunham’s latest character to join the act is Achmed the Dead Terrorist, who thankfully has failed in multiple suicidal tasks, and has allowed Dunham to challenge the climate of political correctness.

Both of Dunham’s DVDs (Arguing with Myself and Spark of Insanity) have gone multi-platinum and Spark of Insanity continues to be one of the highest rated hour-long standup specials in Comedy Central’s history, with multiple airings every month. Tickets are $42.50 and $37.50 (includes facility fee).
