HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS AT NATIONWIDE ARENA ON DEC. 29

COLUMBUS, OH – The legendary Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their completely unique brand of exciting family fun when the 2009 “Spinning The Globe” World Tour comes to Nationwide Arena on Monday, December 29 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster.

Fans will be captivated by the Globetrotters’ basketball wizardry, hilarious antics and fan interaction, all presented by some of the world’s greatest athletes and entertainers, such as the reigning Clown Prince of Basketball, Special K Daley; dribbling sensation Scooter Christensen; the gravity-defying Hi-Lite Bruton; fan favorite Ant Atkinson; ball handling extraordinaire Blenda Rodriguez; and El Gato Melendez, the first Puerto Rican-born player to ever suit up for the Globetrotters.

Now in their 83rd consecutive season of touring the world, the Harlem Globetrotters have played in 120 countries on six continents, entertaining over 128 million fans and crossing barriers between cultures, societies and people from all walks of life. The Globetrotters are one of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Tickets may be purchased at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (614) 431-3600. Tickets are also available at the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line locations at Chiller Dublin, Chiller Easton, Chiller North and The Mall at Tuttle Crossing. All tickets are subject to service charges and facility fees.
