Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has announced the dates of its 2016 Winter Tour again featuring one of the group’s most beloved stories in its Platinum anniversary year - “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” to 61 cities across North America. QFM96, Sunny 95, Ricart Automotive Group and Wildlights at The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium are proud to welcome TSO to Nationwide Arena for two spectacular shows Thursday, December 29 at 4PM & 8PM. Reserved seat tickets starting at $46 plus service charges GO ON SALE Friday, September 16 at 10AM - a portion of the proceeds benefit The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium conservation efforts and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Each concert ticket purchased online will include a digital audio copy of The Ghosts of Christmas Eve including a bonus track titled “Music Box Blues”.

Debuted last year to rave reviews, and based on the multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” follows a runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater on December 24th. Seeking shelter, the teen is discovered by the theater’s caretaker who uses spirits from the building’s past to turn her life around. The rock opera features enduring fan-favorites "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," "O’ Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day." The 2016 tour will feature an all new second set featuring some of TSO’s greatest hits.

Says TSO creator, lyricist and composer Paul O’Neill, “This show was an experiment, to take something conceived for TV and try to express that story live on stage. Integrating segments of the TV show, with a live narrator, and full rock band was something TSO has never done. The overwhelming response from the fans during the 2015 Winter Tour drove the band's decision to go back out this year. We have new artists, new special effects and lots of surprises.”

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning and the Wall Street Journal. TSO is one of the world’s biggest rock acts playing approximately 2,000 shows for nearly 13 million fans, with tour grosses of more than $580 million, and sales in excess of 10 million albums and DVDs.
